About Me

I’m Katie — also known as The Witch Doctor.

My work is rooted as much in lived experience as it is in education, training, and science.

Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve navigated intense stress, emotional challenges, and years of persistent health struggles that left me disconnected from my body and unsure of myself. But these experiences weren’t obstacles to overcome — they became my most powerful teachers. Through them, I discovered how deeply the body, mind, and nervous system are intertwined, and how much clarity, resilience, and confidence can emerge when we listen to ourselves rather than push against what’s happening inside. This is the foundation of the work I do — helping women navigate midlife with ease, insight, and empowerment.

My Personal Journey

I’m currently navigating my own peri- and menopause journey, and along the way, I’ve reclaimed my body, energy, and confidence. This personal experience allows me to walk alongside other women with authenticity, understanding, and proven strategies for thriving during this transformative stage of life.

I specialize in supporting women managing anxiety, depression, hormonal shifts, and the physical and emotional changes of midlife — so that this chapter of life can truly be radiant, empowered, and your most vibrant yet.

How i Support people

Over the years, I’ve become known for helping women who feel stuck. Many recognize their patterns intellectually but struggle to shift them — chronic stress, nervous system overwhelm, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection that keeps repeating despite their best efforts.

My role is to help clients explore these patterns, reconnect with their internal resources, and create space for new responses to emerge — so they can feel grounded, confident, and fully in control of their well-being.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with people ages 5 to 75 in supportive, educational, and growth-oriented settings. While I work with all genders and life stages, my special focus is women ready to move out of chronic stress and overwhelm — reclaiming their bodies, regulating their nervous systems, and stepping into midlife radiantly and empowered.

the heart of my work

I blend science and intuition, combining evidence-informed nervous system education (including Polyvagal-informed perspectives) with my trademarked Aligned and Empowered™ coaching method. This helps clients notice habitual patterns, strengthen boundaries, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate sustainable, embodied ways of responding to life — far beyond short-term coping strategies.

Alongside lived experience, my training includes:

  • Master’s degree, Wilfrid Laurier University

  • Certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation, Conrad Grebel College, University of Waterloo

  • Participation in the Dalai Lama Centre for Ethics’ Transformative Leadership Program, Balsillie School of International Affairs

  • Holistic Nutrition, Holistic Life Coaching, Polyvagal Theory, Death Doula training, and more

This combination ensures my guidance is grounded, practical, and deeply informed, while still honouring the unique wisdom of each individual and bringing warmth, honesty, and lightness to our work . Whether you’re beginning a personal well-being journey or navigating a complex chapter in the middle of it, you don’t have to do it alone. I would be honoured to walk alongside you — so that you can reclaim your body, restore your emotional balance, and step fully into the second half of your life with confidence and joy.
