what does a witch doctor do?
Hi! Allow me to introduce myself — my name is Katie, better known as The Witch Doctor.
I first started calling myself that in jest. I didn’t know what else to call myself. My education and experience span Holistic Nutrition, Conflict Management and Mediation, Polyvagal Theory and nervous system regulation, Cancer Prevention, Equine Assisted Learning — and a whole lot in between.
Over time, something interesting began to happen. People started finding me through referrals from friends and family (the best compliment there is), asking if I could help with a problem they hadn’t been able to solve elsewhere. It reminded me of the movie Practical Magic — people arriving at the door seeking clarity, healing, and answers. While I don’t cast spells, there is something powerful that happens here. And so, The Witch Doctor was born.
And it fits.
I’m an expert problem solver who works at the intersection of holistic health, nervous system regulation, and mind-body healing. I help people with anxiety and depression, digestive issues (constipation, IBS, and gut health challenges), parenting and relationship struggles, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, stress-related symptoms, and those frustrating, undiagnosable issues that don’t seem to show up clearly on tests.

People often ask how one person can help with so many different concerns — and the truth is, I’m not an expert in every condition. What I am deeply trained in is how the human body works, how the human mind works, and how the soul and nervous system interact with both.
My work blends science and spirituality. I use evidence-based knowledge of physiology, nutrition, psychology, and Polyvagal-informed nervous system work, alongside intuition, pattern recognition, and a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom. Symptoms are not random to me — they’re communication. I specialize in understanding how the body speaks, and I’ve been learning its language for over 20 years.
I love my clients, and I love watching people reconnect with themselves — becoming calmer, healthier, more resilient, and more fully alive.
